Established in 1992, we have grown to become Vivid Floral Design… After being inspired by attending the local flower club with her Mum from the age of 9, Amanda went on to study at The Welsh College of Horticulture, which included an amazing placement in Jersey. On completing college Amanda’s parents helped her start up her business in an outbuilding on their farm and that is where Farmhouse Flowers was born, specialising in wedding  and funeral flowers … In 2004 after a trip to a trade show Amanda was inspired to expand and open a shop to be able to provide flowers for all occasions and corporate clients, this resulted in the purchase of Greens N Things in Gresford, where business bloomed and continued to expand, it was in 2013 that we re-branded to Vivid Floral Design ready for the next stage as we had outgrown our premises… In 2014 after a year-long renovation we re-located just 2 miles away to 112 Chester Rd, Acton, Wrexham, to much larger premises and continued to grow. We are very proud to be the preferred supplier to many of the area’s premier hotels and event venues with events including Chester Races, Cholmondley Pageant of Power, Locomotive services (steam trains) to name a few and we have gained a reputation for excellence in proving floral services to the local business and corporate sectors, whilst also maintaining a personal service to our valued retail clientele. Every member of the Vivid team love what they do and have a real passion to provide the highest quality floral designs and first class customer service. We use only the highest quality blooms and also have a beautiful selection of giftware, some of which can be ordered online, but we still love to welcome you in store to view our full range of blooms, cards, balloons and giftware. You can be assured of the highest quality fresh flowers specifically sourced to meet our exacting standards. Each floral design is handmade, created by one of our highly experienced qualified florists. All the bouquets and arrangements are freshly made to your individual order, for either delivery or collection in person. The Rose Garden Florist was opened in 2015 by Stephanie and her father Terry after the loss of her Mum and his wife, Rose.  The shop is named after her and everything is done with her and her memory in mind, she was after all, the most beautiful flower of all. Starting with one full time florist, the Rose Garden has grown over the years and now employs seven florists and two drivers in their beautiful shop in Great Dunmow, the heart of rural Essex. Offering all types of floral arrangements from weddings to funerals, births, birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions, The Rose Garden’s team of florists have a flair for creativity and a passion for all things floral.  They are proud member of both the Good Florist Guide and the British Floristry Association where they were awarded the runners up in the Flower Shop of the Year competition in 2021.

Sarah has always been one to spot an opportunity. Her career began at Fowlers florist in Portishead High Street and after demonstrating a flair for floral arrangements, she studied floristry for three years at Plymouth College of Art. After college Sarah went travelling and her artistic ability earned her a job on the other side of the world where she was invited to help at the legendary spring flower show in Sydney.
