Donna Cornish’s passion for flowers started at a young age, she had her first floristry job at the age of 15 while on work experience in a well-respected local florist. Starting her career in floristry in 2002 attending Plymouth College of Further Education and Bicton College, Exeter working and training for a further 7 years, during this time Donna has achieved the following Qualifications; City and Guilds Level 2 National Certificate in Floristry City and Guilds Level 3 National Certificate in Floristry City and Guilds Level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry In August 2009 Donna achieved her lifelong ambition of setting up her own floristry business. She is able to offer advice and assistance through the entire spectrum of floristry, be it a bouquet of flowers, a wedding, funeral or corporate enquiry. Donna is and continues to strive for innovative and new designs as well as offering the traditional displays to suit client’s requirements. Donna’s Award-winning shop is full of floral designs ready to go, alongside a wide range of plants and quality giftware, be sure to pop by if you are passing or would like to enquire about flowers for one of life’s many events.

From a farming background where ‘growing your own’ for the local show was a must, I have had a love of flowers since I was a young girl. My Grandad Woodley gave me my first bunch of sweet peas for my bedroom straight from his allotment, and that was it! I began ‘learning the ropes’ when I was 13 years old with a Saturday job at a local garden centre, being trained by an amazing floral designer. Since then I have used my flair for floral design to produce flowers for all occasions. I still enter local shows and national ‘NAFAS’ shows where I have won many prizes. It’s now time for me to realise my forever dream with my own florists, so here we are. Why Mad Hatter? Well, I have a love for everything ‘Alice in Wonderland’ – the story set in the countryside with a young girl’s imagination running wild seems very apt. All my floral creations are bespoke, using seasonal British grown flowers wherever possible.

Neill carefully chooses the finest seasonal blooms, new and rare varieties, especially for his discerning clientele. These flowers are selected and picked individually; then immediately sent directly from the growers’ greenhouses to Harrods so that they are on display at the concession within 24 hours of picking. Neill’s talented florists, who can tell the story of each flower, create daily stunning hand-tied bouquets and arrangements, beautifully presented in exclusive luxury packaging. Innovative and artistic, they also specialise in creating bespoke arrangements, floral styling interiors and designing corporate work, that they adapt perfectly to the style and desires of the client.
