The team is led by award winning Master Florist, Kate Thomas, who has won many awards such as at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, winning a Gold Medal in 2019 and a Silver Medal in 2018. Kate has also been involved at Hampton Court Flower Show where she won a silver gilt medal for her design. The whole team has over 30 years experience in the floristry business enabling Elder Floral Design to have a reputation for creativity and interpretation and outstanding floral arrangements to cater for all tastes and requirements. Elder Floral Design is one of the leading UK florists, delivering flowers locally in person or by courier, nationwide through our online flower shop. Based at the Stubbings Nursery near Maidenhead in Berkshire, we are ideally located to serve London and the wider Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey and Sussex areas.

Opened in September 2004 we are a family run business providing excellent service in and around the Birmingham area. Run and managed by Becky Smith who has over 25 years experience in the Floristry industry both in retail and as a lecturer in Further Education, with a Higher Diploma in Floristry. Constantly updating skills and trying new designs Becky is always ready for a challenge and this shows when you see the bespoke funeral and wedding designs she creates.. The shop has an amazing array of cut flowers, plants and foliages of superb quality; we pride ourselves on the quality and the vase life of our flowers, it’s what sets us apart. Providing flowers for all occasions from weddings to funerals, christenings to anniversaries, no job is too big or too small. Wedding flowers are our particular favourite as no two brides ever want the same thing. Our work is never the same; we offer a consultation service and our prices are tailor made for you and your wedding. We are an independent, family operated, dedicated team of florists with a passion for flowers and an eye for detail. Our founder, Luba Clarke, has more than 15 years experience in the industry and has used her almost encyclopaedic knowledge to put together a team and a range that  can satisfy the most discerning customer and delight everyone who receives out flowers.

Established in 1992, we have grown to become Vivid Floral Design… After being inspired by attending the local flower club with her Mum from the age of 9, Amanda went on to study at The Welsh College of Horticulture, which included an amazing placement in Jersey. On completing college Amanda’s parents helped her start up her business in an outbuilding on their farm and that is where Farmhouse Flowers was born, specialising in wedding  and funeral flowers … In 2004 after a trip to a trade show Amanda was inspired to expand and open a shop to be able to provide flowers for all occasions and corporate clients, this resulted in the purchase of Greens N Things in Gresford, where business bloomed and continued to expand, it was in 2013 that we re-branded to Vivid Floral Design ready for the next stage as we had outgrown our premises… In 2014 after a year-long renovation we re-located just 2 miles away to 112 Chester Rd, Acton, Wrexham, to much larger premises and continued to grow. We are very proud to be the preferred supplier to many of the area’s premier hotels and event venues with events including Chester Races, Cholmondley Pageant of Power, Locomotive services (steam trains) to name a few and we have gained a reputation for excellence in proving floral services to the local business and corporate sectors, whilst also maintaining a personal service to our valued retail clientele. Every member of the Vivid team love what they do and have a real passion to provide the highest quality floral designs and first class customer service. We use only the highest quality blooms and also have a beautiful selection of giftware, some of which can be ordered online, but we still love to welcome you in store to view our full range of blooms, cards, balloons and giftware. Each floral design is handmade, created by one of our highly experienced qualified florists. All the bouquets and arrangements are freshly made to your individual order, for either delivery or collection in person.
